Kern County is the 2nd Most Affordable Housing Market In California

Kern County has been named the second most affordable housing market in California according to the California Association of Realtors. Placing just after Fresno, Kern County has an affordability rate of 53 percent, a median house price of $244,000, an average monthly payment of $1,290 and a minimum qualifying income of $51,720. The CA Association of Realtors also stated that it’s important to note “Housing affordability decreased from a year ago in nine counties (Kern, Kings, Merced, Placer, Sacramento, San Benito, San Joaquin, Stanislaus and Tulare).”Click here or on the image below to read more!
