The fall 2015 Bank of America Small Business Owner Report is a semi-annual study that uncovers the concerns, aspirations and perspectives of small business owners (under 100 employees) around the country.
According to the just-released figures, small business owners’ confidence in the national economy rose 11 percent year over year, from 45 percent in 2014 to 56 percent in 2015.
The report also gauges generational perceptions and attitudes. Millennials and Gen-Xers are much more bullish with their future economic predictions than baby boomers.
Kern County is home to more than 15,000 small businesses, representing over 130,000 employees.
